| 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful:  Bit of a disappointment, Fun: This review is from: Action Replay ULTIMATE CHEATS POKEMON (includes White & Black) (Accessory) The Action Replay does have some good cheats and seems to work well with Pokemon SoulSilver but it has not been compatible with White even though it says White & Black are included. When my son tries to use it with White, the game freezes. I have done an internet search and found this is a standard problem with the Replay and if you want it to work, you need to do a firmware update. I bought this because it specifically said White was included; it didn't say anything about needing to update anything. And for those who are not savvy in the ways of a DS, the steps for completing the update are a bit intimidating. I am hesitant to do the firmware update suggested as I know others who have done it and lost their games and/or ruined their Action Replay. Reading through tips and blogs about the update I have found many people who have trouble getting it to work. In SoulSilver, the Replay has been helpful, but as far as White goes, it's been a big disappointment...
